Autism, or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is a developmental condition that affects social interaction, communication, and behavior. It is estimated that approximately 1 in 54 children in the United States are diagnosed with autism, making it one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders in the country.

Despite its prevalence, there is still a lot of misunderstanding and stigma surrounding autism. This gallery aims to challenge those misconceptions by showcasing the beauty, creativity, and strength of those on the autism spectrum. Each photograph captures a different aspect of the autism experience, from the challenges to the triumphs, and everything in between.
